Geneva's favorite saying which she uses often (overuses and misuses) is "... as a pancake!" I have no idea where it came from but we frequently hear:
"I'm as hungry as a pancake."
"I'm as warm as a pancake." or "I'm warm just like a pancake."
"I'm as tired as a pancake."
"I'm as cozy as a pancake."
and the latest:
"Argh! Move Maisie, she's blocking the TV. She's right in front of it... she's as close as a pancake!"
"Mom, the Wonder Pets are as dandy as anything, you know why? They are as short as a pancake."
It's strange but cute.
