Especially sweet, considering minutes earlier they were screaming at each other.  They have a "book buddies" cheer they made up this winter.

Younger Sister

M: "Mom, I'm glad I'm a younger sister.  You know why? If you see your older sister wearing something that you like.  Well, you just have to wait and then someday it will be yours."

We'll see if she'll still feel that when she's a teenager.

Being an Adult

G:  "You know,  I just feel nowhere near ready to be an adult.  I don't even know how you get ready to be an adult.  It seems so complicated I don't know how you're supposed to know how to handle all those responsibilities."
