Earth Week: Re-Use

One of her school assignments was a project ("I've never had a PROJECT assigned to me before!") to make something out of trash.  So she reused an pretty jar and some ribbon from a package to make a vase.  And an old threadbare t-shirt too raggedly for the thrift shop into a spaghetti scarf.

Wearing mom's green t-shirt (school had a dress down day if you wore green for Earth Day.)
