They didn't have gas...
Yet another reason why I love kindergarten... cards made during free time:
G: (as I'm walking her to school) "Mom, how did you get to school when you were a kid."
Me: "I walked sometimes when I was young, but mostly we drove."
G: "What?! But how did you do that? I thought they didn't have gas yet when you were a kid!"
