Governor's Island

We took the ferry to Governor's Island, road a quad bike around the path by the water, picnicked in the grass, played on the swings and tree house made from reclaimed/salvaged wood, wandered around Williams Castle, and generally had a lovely time.

The girls are already looking forward to going back as they continue to develop the island as a public space - specifically the "hammock grove"...
