Just Get Over It

G:  "Mom, you know what I think? I think you just need to get over being [age redacted]."

M:  "Hmm... What do you mean by 'get over' it?"

G:  "Getting over it, just means to settle into it.  It took Dad quite awhile to settle into being [age redacted] and get over it after his birthday, so I just thought that maybe you might need to do the same thing."
