Color

Kind of amazing that kids can naturally just pick colors that go together.

I let her pick four colors to paint with today.

She chose: blue, green, purple, turquoise.

After a few paintings, she begged "Four more colors, please."

She then chose: red, orange, pink, brown.

Before she got bored and said she just wanted to paint a picture of her dentist's office, we had a brief fun conversation about warm and cool colors and how one set were all blue based colors and the other all red based colors

Her sister showed her color appreciation by mixing a nice shade of slate blue and applying it to her face (and a streak or two in her hair).
