Summer Fun

When it's hot we tend to spend 80-90% of our awake hours outdoors. A few of the things we've been up to; in no particular order.

LIBRARY

Brooklyn Library Summer Reading Kick-Off (balloon princess crown). Geneva was one of the most enthusiastic kids in the audience for the kids band that kicked the day off.

ZOO

Crawling on the rope spiderweb

Milking the pretend cows (they have udders made from large bottles so you can "milk" them)

Eating picnic lunches (Maisie's favorite food aside from chocolate is tomatoes)

BROOKLYN MUSEUM

resting from a long walk from somewhere, Maisie's always cracking up about something

Enjoying being "barefeet"

Occasional trips out of the Borough to Central Park; though Geneva always gets anxious and sad at some point and says she "really misses Brooklyn".

HAIR CARE

She went from a bob to a "french-bob" (shorter in back than in front) as she's very proud to explain. That plus a new fancy brush just for tangles not using shampoo but every week to 10 days and a grown up conditioner has seemed to finally fixed her constant tangles and smallish dreadlocks.
