Baby/Toddler Baboons love Maisie.
The baboon on the right followed Maisie wherever she went on her side of the glass and watch her with great interest. The baby baboon on the left might have too, but that mom mustn't thought she was too safe because every time the baby would dart to the glass to get close to the window she'd yank him by the tail back to a safe distance.
We spent a good long while just trying to get her to walk in one of the animal houses. She was transfixed at the large picture of the owl, smiling pointing and "hooo-ing".
There were no school groups there today so she toddled around smiling, pointing and making animal sounds.
